Autumn begins…
September 23rd, 2008Hello Candle Breeze fans!
Writing today with the new Fall Cand-O fragrance “Harvest Spice” filling my office as “Righteously” by Lucinda Williams is playing on my Aroma Radio Mix.
First of all, thanks so much for all of your Candle Breeze support! Our web site hits have increased 500% since we started this new web page. We are so happy to hear from our first time Candle Breeze patrons that you are loving this product more than you ever imagined. As mentioned time and time again, this product really does fill your entire home with your favorite aroma in minutes and we get that comment all the time. Our research and testing proves that it would take “dozens” of lighted candles “hours” spread out over your entire house to get the same results that 1 Candle Breeze can do in “minutes”.
Received more music selections in the past 2 weeks than the previous 2 months combined! Seems so many of you want to express your feelings through music and I love it! I’m working on a couple different Aroma Radio mixes as per your requests. I’m struggling with the “mood” mix right now but the Aroma Radio Volume 6 (see below) is starting to really come together. Spent the last 2 weekend nights on my deck listening to most of your requests and CD’s that you have sent me. I highly recommend a couple of good cigars, beverage of your choice, watching a full moon when putting together a great music mix.
“T Fair” was in town from Tulsa and spent an entire evening on the deck sampling some really cool tunes for the next mix. Our goal was to select 15 tracks but by the time we were done we had 35. I have selected about 20 for you all to choose from, I would like to get your 5 favorites after you have had some time to enjoy.
I know some of you are waiting for props and shout-outs so here we go…
Thanks to Alison a Candle Breeze fan for coming up to me and introducing herself at the Paul Thorn concert and buying me a few too many beverages. She attended this show due to my suggestion on the last blog. She reconized me from the web site and thanked me for getting her out on a Thursday night.
As for Paul Thorn, it was as good as I could of ever imagined. A dear friend turned me on to Paul Thorn and always had good things to say about his shows, this show was as good as it gets. Jeffery Perkins the drummer enjoyed some ribs and laughs with us after the show and was the coolest cat I have ever met. Thanks to “Bad Brad Wheeler” at KRCL 90.9 for hooking us up with Paul Thorn after the show and bringing him to Pat’s for this show. You made the experience a night to remember. If you get the chance to see The Paul Thorn Band in your town please don’t pass it up, you’ll thank me later.
Tammy H. at Gold’s Gym in Orem has her Candle Breeze going at all times and claims it does wonders for the mood of the gym. Kim W. has turned Candle Breeze on to all of her male co-workers at Big D Construction. Seems they all ask her for romantic advice in their relationships and Candle Breeze has been a big hit.
Now I know why Big D has been ordering so many Cand-O replacements. The Pumpkin Spice is known to enhance the male libido. = )
Big thanks as always to The Chunga Show! They had me on the radio again last week and the emails were/are hilarious! Chunga set me up with some funny questions about my personal life that I was not about to answer truthfully but enough to get many of you wanting more of an answer. The contest that he mentioned is not going to happen so please no more requests of offering to make it happen. I love the requests but afraid who is really on the other end, I think Chunga submitted most of the offers with fake names & email addresses. How many 101.9 The End & Candle Breeze fans have names such as Trixxxie, Starr, “Sunday Morning” and my favorite “Angela Dangerlove?” I’m going to stay on this single train a little bit longer and will keep you on my first to call list when my status changes.
Tony at Talking Pictures has again provided you all with some great discount pricing on Friday’s and by the looks of things you have taken advantage of these specials. Tony sent me to see “Burn after reading” & “Ghost Town” the last 2 weeks to get my thoughts. Burn was really funny with a strange ending. Ghost Town had me laughing quite a bit also with some touching moments at the end. So that is my quick review for Tony.
Wow! Received so many thanks about my suggesting you all call or send an email to someone special you care about. In fact many of you sent Candle Breeze product to some very lucky people, I was very touched by some of the notes you sent with your Candle Breeze gifts. I told you that that they would love the gift as some of you have commented. I received 3 emails from friends that I haven’t talked to for a while after they read the last blog and it really did make my day. Karen G. wrote “I’ve been looking for the perfect excuse to contact an old friend and your Candle Breeze has lit an old flame back up, thanks for the push.” “Jonny M” received a call from “T Fair” after reading the blog that “T Fair” shared with me. When she called and said hello he answered “you changed my world with your hello”. Hope you all get this type of response when contacting a good friend. Remember someone out there really misses you so make the first move and change their world with your hello.
I will give in this time and provide an Aroma radio pre-set list to keep you happy for awhile. I highly suggest that you take a long drive and get out and see all the great Autumn colors while enjoying the music that I’m providing. Take a good friend along with you and enjoy it together. Ashley M. wrote me and asked “what is the sexiest song that I can start my mood mix with?” “I love your suggestions and putting together my favorites from your list and looking for that perfect foreplay start”.
Well Ashley, there are so many great opening songs to choose from but “Jungle Fever” by Chakachas could be the winner. I would love to see your set list when you have it completed.
Hope to see more of you this Saturday at the tail gate party. Our Running Utes are 4-0 and take on Weber State this Saturday. I have the pleasure of being the camp guard this week and will be at the tail gate area the entire game so stop by and I’ll provide you with a beverage of your choice from 1 of the 25 coolers that I will be guarding. The Utes should be up by 35 at half so come spend the second half with me. The Aroma Radio “Tail Gate” Mix will be playing so as Us3 says “Come’on Everybody”.
Get well soon to Lore@Ideas. We’re all wishing you a speedy recovery! Thanks to “all” who have sent me cd’s & music suggestions the past few weeks, as I have personally responded and mentioned these mixes are all about me so don’t be too upset if your songs don’t make the list.
Cheers,
Deno
